Mentsuyu is originally used for broth of Japanese noodle like udon or soba. It is made of soy sauce, dashi stock, sake and so on. It contains umami flavour itself and you can put any sauce to gain the taste!
・ 1 egg (boiled and chopped)
・ 1 tbsp. onion (chopped)
・ some parsley (chopped)
・ 1 tbsp. mayonnaise
・ 1 tsp. caper (chopped)
・ 1 tsp. cornichon (chopped)
・ 1 tbsp. mentsuyu
・ some salt and pepper to taste
・ vegetables (boiled)
1. Mix all the ingredient in a bowl.
2. Serve with bread and boiled vegetables.
