Pan-Fried Carrot with Japanese Fish Sauce

SERVES:3-4

 

INGREDIENTS:

・2 (400 g) carrots
・80 g peanuts

・1 tbsp. 1-2 (15-30g) Japanese fish sauce* (depending on the saltiness of your fish sauce)
・2 tsp. (15 g) honey
・1 tsp. (15 g) vinegar
・some cooking oil

・coriander leaves (roughly chopped)

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Shred the carrot with a knife or a vegetable slicer. Chop the peanuts roughly.

 

2. Put some cooking oil into a frying pan and pan-fry the carrot over medium heat. When the carrot soften, add the peanuts, fish sauce, honey, and vinegar. Mix well and serve with the coriander leaves.

*The saltiness of Japanese fish sauce depends on the manufacturer. So, you need to adjust the amount when adding.
