・ 2 cloves garlic(chopped)
・ 1/2 carrot(chopped)
・ 1/2 stalks celery(chopped)
・ 1 onion(chopped)
・ 300 g beef(minced)
・ some olive oil
・ 200 ml red wine
・ 1 tbsp. tomato paste
・ 400 g diced tomato (can)
・ salt and pepper to taste
・ 1 bay leaf

・ some Parmesan
・ some lettuce(shredded)
・ 400 ml rice
・ 400 ml water


1. Rinse rice and put into pot with cover. Cook for 10minites. Remove from heat and let stand for 10minites with the lid on to steam rice.
2. At the same time, put a pan on high heat with cooking oil and sauté minced beef until the meat is browned over. Put salt and pepper to taste. Remove beef from the pan.
3. Using the same pan, put garlic onion, carrot and celery at medium heat. Add the cooked beef, bay leaf and red wine until the liquid is almost evaporated.
4. Add tomato paste and diced tomato. Simmer about 15minutes and put salt and pepper to taste.
5. Serve over steamed rice with lettuce. Sprinkle Parmesan on top.
