Tofu Steak with Bacon and Anchovy sauce


SERVINGS: 2 dishes

300g Tofu
50g sliced bacon, roughly chopped
3 anchovy filets in oil, drained and chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
Olive oil
Wheat flour

1. Tofu draining: wrap tofu in paper towels, place on a plate, and put another plate on top. Put something heavy on the top plate and let sit for at least 10 minutes
2. Cut the tofu into slices
3. Sprinkle tofu with salt and pepper and then coat with wheat flour
4. Heat olive oil and saute bacon in a pan.
5. Take sauted bacon from a pan and saute tofu on both sides
6. Place sauted tofu on a plate and top sauted bacon on the tofu
7. Heat 2 tsp olive oil and add chopped garlic in a pan, and then add chopped anchovy and saute until it turns crispy
8. Pour anchovy sauce onto the tofu sauted in the step-6
